摘要
The electromagnetic losses in graphite-metal and carbon-epoxy composites (CM) at the frequency f approximate to 1.8 GHz have been investigated. Composite materials were prepared using different carbon particles such as natural disperse graphite (Gr) (size of flakes 50 gm), thermoexfoliated graphite (TEG), carbon fiber (CF) and impure carbon nanotubes (CN). The maximal microwave loss observed for Gr-epoxy CM at graphite content was about 45 wt.% (23 dB) and for TEG-epoxy CM at TEG content around 13 wt.% (26 dB). The comparative analysis of CM TEG epoxy, CF-epoxy and CN-epoxy containing almost the same content of carbon component (similar to 11-13 wt. %) have shown the electromagnetic losses to be maximal for CM TEG-epoxy and CF-epoxy.
