摘要
During November and December 2017, damage was observed on roots and stems of maize (Zea mays L.) plants in commercial plots at Campeche, Mexico. Based on its morphological characteristics, Coptotermes testaceus was identified as the pest. This is the first record of C. testaceus causing damage to Z. mays in Mexico.
