摘要
This paper describes the traffic engineering for the next generation mobile communication systems. The next generation mobile communication systems will offer a variety of services (e.g,, voice, data, video) to the Mobile Users(MUs) with a different mobility behavior (e.g., stationary, pedestrian, vehicular) in both public and private environments. The traffic engineering presented in this paper considers all the above mentioned features. In this paper, we introduce tbe handover rate and the time it takes a user to leave a cell area for the effect of user mobility and use a different traffic engineering models for a variety of services. We apply these models to real mobile network and compare with the existing models with respect to the network efficiency.
