On the ubiquity of non-unitary quantum canonical transformations

We present examples in support of the conjecture that quantum canonical transformations which are used to establish the equivalence or duality of different quantum systems and which have non-linear classical counterparts will be non-unitary or, more generally, linear isomorphisms but not isometries.
