Magnetic Field Analysis of Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor using Analytical Method according to Rotor Structure

摘要
This paper presents the magnetic field analysis of a permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) according to two different types of rotor structures. One is iron core type model, while the other is full magnet type model. The magnetization and current density are modeled using by the analytical method. The governing equations of magnetic field distribution at no-load condition and by armature reaction are expressed as a magnetic potential vector in the polar coordinate system. The analytical solution of the governing equations are obtained using the boundary conditions and are validated by comparison with results of the Finite Element Method(FEM).
