摘要
This article proposes reflections on the impacts of climate change on the cultural heritage of indigenous peoples and traditional communities in the Pantanal of Mato Grosso and Mato Grosso do Sul - a Natural Heritage Site of Humanity. The effects of the environmental, water and climate crises affect the cultural heritage of fishermen, indigenous peoples and quilombolas, threatening the safeguarding of their cultural assets. These factors contribute to the acceleration of the climate change process and put the cultural heritage of indigenous peoples and traditional communities at risk - such as the trough viola, the single-pole canoe or Pantaneira canoe, the Sao Joao bath and the ceramics of the Terena people, registered as intangible heritage - that depend on this territory and biome for cultural reproduction. The methodological procedure adopted in the research consisted of the analysis of written documents, such as reports by IPHAN, UNESCO and the "Comissao de Registro de Saberes Imateriais dos Pescadores e das Pescadoras Tradicionais no Municipio de Caceres", and interviews carried out with indigenous peoples and traditional communities of Mato Grosso and Mato Grosso do Sul.
