摘要
Calibration procedures in reverberation chambers are based on the distribution of the expected value of the (maximum) electric field. This distribution is observed over some statistically independent positions of an electric field probe. If the standard deviation is within a required limit then it is considered that testing is possible. Testing is then a random experience that consists in putting the EUT in one random position. As a result reproducibility, can then be considered as the observation of two EUT testing in two different positions. Its is shown how uncertainty can be controlled by cumulating the number of positions. Given a well-operating reverberation chamber, the obtained uncertainty is in conformity with the statistic properties of the created stochastic fields, and can be precisely controlled.
