摘要：
Syringic acid reacted in a reaction system containing hydrogen peroxide and peroxidase to give 2,6-dimethoxy-p-benzoquinone. The reaction product was identified using different spectroscopic techniques and by HPLC. This reaction might have biological importance as the natural synthesis pathway of 2,6-dimethoxy-p-benzoquinone has not been discovered up to now.
