Cost-Benefit Analysis of Urban Fire Stations Management

With rapid urbanization and population density in China, the urban infrastructure of fire fighting can be difficult to meet the increasing demands of urban public safety. By comprehensively analyzing cost input and benefit output of urban fire stations, this paper attempts to apply benefit-cost ratio (BCR) model for the dynamic cost-benefit analysis of urban firefighting investment. Several key strategies have been proposed for China urban fire stations management, emphasizing reasonable allocation on cost input and scientific promotion on benefit output.
