摘要
In order to extend the application of matrix topology, clamped three-level matrix converter, which combines traditional matrix converter and multilevel structure, is presented. This topology is an option for high power no-DC-link systems. However, its modulation strategy, which is mainly carried out by costly and weak scalable space vector modulation, limits the practicality. On this basis, this paper proposed a carrier-based modulation strategy that can be easily extended to higher-level conditions. Theoretical calculations, simulations, and experimental results agree with each other and verify the proposed strategy.
