OUTRAGE AND POLITICS IN SPANISH POPULAR MUSIC: THE INDIE VIDEOCLIP IMAGINARY

This paper proposes to analyse the videoclip La deriva, from the Spanish band Vetusta Morla. In a context of political and social crisis, we see a process of politicization of much of the pop bands in the independent scene Spanish. The analysis aims to clarify if this politicization is produced through the songs itself or through the intertextual network (video clips, interviews with musicians, critical journalistic) surrounding the songs.
