摘要
Although there are many high performance PCs, it is not yet possible to apply these systems to the Grid computing resource because of several unstable features. This research is to design an effective configuration method to use a large number of PCs for PC based Grid computing. The best way is to design a configuration method to treat a collection of PCs as a logical cluster for the Grid component. For this goal, layered services are constructed as a uniform architecture, and each service at a layer is implemented by agents. The system is designed by using the mobility of a smart agent to guarantee the reliability and effectiveness. And an effective way for gathering resource information can support a dynamic scheduling and configuration. The experimental result shows that performance can show more than 90% of the expected computer performance constantly.(.)
