摘要：
This paper presents a telemedicine system capable of remote monitoring cardiac patients. It includes a device which transmits the patient ECG to a Monitoring Center using the Short Message Service (SMS) and data service of a TDMA cellular network. The device works in conjunction with a cellular phone handset, allowing mobility to the patient.
