Non-Isothermal Crystallization and Dynamic Rheological Behavior of PA6/PEEAM Composites

摘要
Poly(ether ester amide) containing zinc(PEEAM) was synthesized from zinc oxide, adipic acid, polyethylene glycol, caprolactam and MDI. The PEEAM was blended with PA6 to prepare PA6/PEEAM composites. The basic thermal behavior and the non-isothermal crystallization kinetics of PA6/PEEAM composites were studied by differential scanning calorimetry (DSC), and the rheological properties of the composites were investigated by dynamic rheometer. DSC results showed that the crystallization behaviors of PA6 were affected because of the introduction of PEEAM. As PEEAM content increase, the width of crystallization peak and crystallization temperature difference (Delta T-c) decreased, and the crystallization peak temperature (T-p) slightly decreased. The non-isothermal crystallization processes of PA6/PEEAM composites were represented by the Jeziorny, Ozawa and Mozhisen equations. The crystallization behavior of PA6 in the PA6/PEEAM composites is in accordance with the Jeziorny equation and the Mozhisen equation, but inconsistent with the Ozawa equation. Rheological results showed that the complex modulus (G*), the dynamic storage modulus (G') and loss modulus (G") of the composites increase with the frequency (omega). G" is larger than G'. The complex viscosity (eta*) decrease slightly with the omega, the loss tangent (tan delta) reaches a maximum with the increment of omega. eta* is linearly dependent to 1/T.
