New algebraic approach for an exact solution of the nuclear mean-field plus orbit-dependent pairing Hamiltonian

摘要：
An infinite dimensional algebraic approach is introduced to derive exact particle-number conserving solutions of the nuclear mean-field plus separable orbit-dependent pairing Hamiltonian. As examples, some low-lying levels, spectroscopic factors, and even-odd mass differences of Ni58-65 isotopes are calculated and compared with experimental values, shell model, and equal strength pairing results. Some limiting cases of the model Hamiltonian are also discussed. (C) 1998 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved.
