摘要
Monitoring is an essential part of smart home technology, and monitoring data are applied to optimize a number of different goals. However, the monitoring component is uneasy to implement by hard coding, and it is time consuming and error-prone. In this paper, we propose an approach for generation of monitoring component. We first extend a meta-modeling language with data source specification that define how to monitor elements of target system, then implement monitoring component which include data collector and model constructor base on the extension meta-model utilizing code generation technology. We apply the approach on three systems, the results show that the approach can efficiently implement a monitoring component and reduce development costs and maintenance costs.
