Reliability based scheme design for fault-crossing of pipeline

摘要
In the construction and planning of long-distance oil and gas transmission pipeline, the pipeline inevitably needs to traverse the earthquake fault and other high risk areas in some area. In the traditional design, strain-based methods are mainly adopted to design the traverse scheme. Based on the strain design, this paper studies the scheme for the natural gas pipeline traversing the fault by using the reliability-based design method, analyzes the failure probability and its influencing factors of the pipeline traversing the earthquake fault and proposes the appropriate design scheme which can meet the requirements of the pipeline reliability.
