Study on the Application of BIM Technology in Green Projects

摘要
As the development of society, we now pay more attention to sustainability in all walks of our daily life. And green project is the main embodiment of application of the sustainable development strategy in construction industry, which generally includes green building design and green construction. But as an emerging thing, there are so many aspects in practice needed to be explored and improved continually. BIM technology is a pertinent tool for which there are significant opportunities to address issues related to sustainability. In this paper, we briefly present the current situation of green project in China and the application of BIM technology at home and abroad. And based this information above, aiming at the fact that traditional green building design and construction methods cannot meet current needs, this paper puts forward a new design and construction approach - integrating BIM technology with green tools(such as LEED, energy analysis software, performance analysis software)to carry out green building design, green construction and even green operation. With the help of this new approach, we can ensure the performance to achieve sufficient green formats points toward certification effectively, avoid many costly redesigns late in the schedule, and redesign buildings to be more energy efficient
