A model for internet-based effective learning and teaching

In this paper a model for effective Internet-based learning and teaching is proposed. This model combines the theories of cognition and effective learning multimedia techniques to help of by facilitating selective rehearsal and effective teaching through multimedia and records of traversal hisiory in the form of click-trails hi, the learners. The teaching langauge is treated as a replaceable module to suit specific learning communities. The prototype for the model has been tested in different experiments over the Internet Both a limited number of sites and the preliminary, results indicate that the model is indeed all effective solution.
