Synthesis and light-emitting characters of 2,5-bis[4(2-arylvinyl)phenyl]-1,3,4-oxadiazoles

摘要
Six novel 2,5-bis[4-(2-arylvinyl)phenyl]-1,3,4-oxadiazoles were designed and synthesized through Wittig-Horner reaction by embedding electron-transporting 1,3,4-oxadiazole in PPV oligomer, which are one kind of blue luminescence materials with highly hole injection, and their chemical structures were also determined to show trans-vinylene character according to IR and H-1 NMR spectra. The analytic results showed that 2,5-bis{4-[2-(p-dimethylaminophenyl)vinyl]phenyl}-1,3,4-oxadiazole has good blue light-emitting property and the substitutes have significant effects on the UV-vis and PL/EL spectra.
