摘要
In the present paper, two case studies are discussed on the reliability assessment and improvement of layered ceramics for catalytic ceramic filters and conductive ceramic coatings. The reliability assessment and improvement cover characterization, durability tests, failure analysis (failure mode and mechanism), lifetime prediction, feedback research, robust design, etc. The lifetime predictions were carried out through accelerated tests, statistical modeling, and a finite element analysis (FEA) simulation based on the physics of failure. As the final step, feedback research was applied to develop more robust designs.
