摘要
We examine the Randall-Sundrum brane-world and demonstrate how it may be realized in terms of a doubled D3-brane configuration of type IIB theory. We further investigate the supersymmetry of the brane-world and show that, despite claims to the contrary it is indeed compatible with supersymmetry. This result depends on having a higher dimensional origin for the model, which the type IIB realization provides.
