摘要：
This paper presents an efficient approach for modeling the pulverized coal combustion, which adopts a Eulerian description for gas and the particulate phases, both. Compared to the standard procedures, the advocated procedure delivers results with a similar overall accuracy, with substantially lower CPU time requirements.
