A computer aided tool for the performance evaluation of Diffserv networks

摘要：
This paper presents a computer aided tool, called QUIPS-II (Queen's University IP Simulator v2.0), that can be used for the performance evaluation of Diffserv networks. Both the EF and the AF per-hop behaviors are implemented in the simulator. By setting tip a network model with variable parameters, simulation can be carried out to observe the Diffserv behavior. Some examples of using QUIPS-II are provided at the end of the paper.
