Uplink capacity of the WCDMA FDD mode in UMTS networks for mixed services

摘要
This document presents the most significant uplink results obtained by a system level (SL) simulator based upon the specifications presented in [1] and on the link level results from [2]. After describing the basis in which the simulator was built the modelling of several items associated to a SL simulator of UMTS (Universal Mobile Telecommunication System) W-CDMA Systems operating in the FDD (Frequency Division Duplex) mode will be introduced. For single services the simulator results can be compared to those presented in (2], bur service mit results will also be presented and for those there are no results available for comparison.
