Study on the Self-study of Higher Mathematics under the Network Environment

As one important basic and theoretical course, higher mathematics is a compulsory subject for the college students of engineering profession, and self-study of higher mathematics under the network environment is crucial for the current innovation education in higher mathematics. This paper analyzes the content of self-study, points out that constructivism is the theoretical basis for self-study, and studies the status of the self-study of higher mathematics. Finally this paper explore the realizable approaches to the self-study of higher mathematics under the network environment from two aspects, one is carry out research-based teaching of higher mathematics, the other is strengthen the construction of quality course website of higher mathematics.
