Credit Rationing on China's Regional Economy

This paper studied credit rationing in China and its impact on regional economy. Incorporating the data of china's GDP and credit, absolute and relative index of credit rationing were constructed to analyse the credit distributions of eight economic zones of China. By comparison, conclusion were made that the eastern coastal zone has credit surplus for a longtime; the northern coastal is in credit equilibrium; the credit situations of the southern coastal, Middle reaches of Yellow River, northeast and southwest show different characteristics at different stages; the northwest has been suffering credit rationing for a long time. Credit rationing should be addressed to maintain the balance of regional economy.
