Experimental study on heat-transfer characteristic of pulsating heat pipe

摘要
The pulsating heat pipe with an inner diameter 3 mm vitreous type closed loop was experimentally studied. The insufficiency of the evaluation for the heat resistance of the pulsating heat pipe affecting the heat transfer performance was analyzed. The calculation formula of the pulsating heat pipe heat transfer efficiency was established according to the energy balance. The influence of three factors (working medium types, charging rate, oblique angle) on the heat transfer efficiency was researched. The reason of the low efficiency of the pulsating heat pipe was analyzed. The experimental results show that the heat transfer efficiency of the pulsating heat pipe is highest with methanol as the working medium, 60% liquid rate and the vertical heating mode.
