The educational quality of Child and Youth Services

The article deals with the issue of education and quality of education of Child and Youth Services. Starting from the fact that education only represents apart of the range of services of Youth Services, both understanding of education and dimensions of the quality of Youth Services are outlined and illustrated using two subfields as examples. This makes clear that varied educational processes take place in Youth Services and also are promoted there. In particular, the development of personal and socials kills offers starting points for an independent education "Prqfiile". However, an agreement on the self-image of Youth Services as organised place of education as well as a systematic formulation of the objectives of education of Youth Services have not yet been prepared.
