摘要
Kansai Electric Power Company and Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Ltd. Have been collaborating on the development of flue gas CO2 recovery technology since 1990. The first commercial plant for flue gas CO2 recovery using the newly developed solvent (KS-1) has been in operation in Malaysia since October 1999. Performance of the process has been excellent in terms of low steam consumption, very low solvent degradation and low solvent loss. At a pilot plant in Osaka the evaluation of flue gas CO2 recovery technology and its applicability to a power plant was carried out in collaboration with all utility companies in Japan between 1995 and 1998. In addition, the influence of flue gas conditions have been investigated for gas turbine exhaust gas, coal-fired boiler flue gas etc., to obtain sufficient data for evaluation of optimum operation conditions and design of commercial plants. Development of energy-efficient solvents is continuing and various new solvents which seem theoretically promising synthesized and tested.
