摘要
A novel compact triple band asymmetric coplanar strip (ACS)-fed antenna is presented. The offered triple-band antenna is consist of a ACS-fed monopole antenna and two open-ended stepped slots loaded with complementary right-left handed (CRLH) component with different lengths which yield the excitation of three independent resonances as well as antenna size miniaturization. Moreover, to improve the impedance matching in different operating frequency bands, stepped structure is selected for the feed line, ground plane, and radiation patch. The measured vertical bar S-11 vertical bar<-10 dB confirms the antenna performance at 5.11-6.32 GHz, 3.39-3.73 GHz, and 1.83-2.73 GHz which cover the in-service frequency bands of PCS1900, WLAN, WiMAX, LTE, DMB, ISM, UMTS, HIPERLAN2 and RFID.
