摘要
The paper focuses on information level of signals gathered in eddy-current non-destructive inspection. A new eddy-current detector is proposed in the study for enhancing quantitative evaluation of an inspected defect. Various exciters are utilized to drive eddy-currents in a test-piece. Interactions of eddy-currents with defects are studied and eddy-current signals sensed by the new detector are predicted by means of numerical simulations. Performances of the new detector are evaluated and its capabilities are explored.
