Inverter Power Control to Support Distribution System Voltage Variability Mitigation

摘要
An implementation of a local linear controller for a three-phase, single-stage, grid-connected photovoltaic (PV) inverter system is proposed. The local linear controller is a means of controlling the reactive output power of the PV system in response to variations in the real output power due to potentially rapidly changing irradiance, which helps to mitigate the voltage variation in the distribution system. A maximum power point tracking and power control system is presented. Virtual resistance damping is employed to improve the response of the LCL filter. Simulation results show that the voltage variation is reduced. The power control and damping system show good performance and stability under rapid change of irradiance.
