摘要
In current industries, the operation of a high tech company is facing severe challenges from rapid changing of outside environment. The vision of the corporate should include the environmental aspects and policies to ensure continuous growth of the operation. Besides, in order to realize business globalization, it is required not only to develop high quality products, but also to implement the environment management for the operation. Especially, for most of semiconductor companies, the environmental protection policy is inevitable to become a key factor for success of the manufacturing operation. In MXIC, we are concurrently pursuing new product and technology development as well as promotion and implementation of waste minimization project. The report will be firstly described background understanding about the importance of environmental aspects and the motivation of implementing the waste minimization activities in MXIC. Secondly, a detail project plan of industrial waste minimization activities will be explained in procedures, organization and methodologies including whole environment audit, case study, brainstorming and 6S/3U etc. Subsequently, the conclusion will be given to share the results and performances of implementing industrial waste reclaim, energy saving, the optimal consumption of photo resist and the control wafer reclaim projects. And the total cost reduction is about NT$ 318,610,000 per year. Finally, industrial waste minimization activities will be combined with environmental management system (EMS) for implementing the environment policies of a company for continuous improvement.
