摘要
This article shows the result of the local research, carried out at the Panorama headquarters of the Caguancito educational institution, Garzon municipality, Huila department in Colombia, the objective of the research is to analyze the impact of the curricular proposal of the Science area Natural versus the use and care of natural resources in the institution and the region. The methodology is qualitative in nature with a descriptive approach. To collect the information, a document review matrix, surveys and interviews were used with 25 students from the elementary school campuses, 22 parents, residents and teachers of the institution. The results obtained show the absence of content and teaching strategies that favor the care and protection of natural resources in the Natural Sciences curricular plan. The most representative natural resource in the region are water sources, these supply the liquid to 80% of the families for the maintenance of domestic activities and agricultural production; These sources are being affected by the excessive consumption of the community and the lack of protection. The curriculum was intervened by designing a transversal didactic curricular strategy, which allows the care and preservation of natural resources, especially water sources, a proposal in which teachers, students and parents can participate in activities strengthening environmental awareness.
