摘要
The traditional family culture is an important component of the family business culture, which makes the family firms form their unique values, management styles and behavior patterns. Comparing with other forms of firms, family firms can help employees to foster the feelings of belonging, identity, loyalty and cohesion. After defining the relevant concepts and reviewing the relevant theory, this paper analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of family culture in family firms, and then uses Maslow's hierarchy of needs theory to elaborate what kinds of social responsibility family business should undertake to its employees, so that it can achieve sustainable development and thus forms its unique core competence.
