摘要：
The study of the effects of ISO certification on the organizational performance is a controversial issue at present. The purpose of this article is to analyze the financial effects of implementing ISO in a Romanian textile company. With this in view, the study precedes with an examination of the stock market reaction to ISO certification, on one hand, and with the examination of the intrinsic reaction of the system to ISO certification in terms of profitability, risks and quality costs on the other hand. The final conclusion of this study clearly states that, for the company that was the subject of this study, ISO certification lead to benefits for the company in terms of added value, share market and size and structure of quality costs. On the other hand, implementing the quality management system ISO 9000 did not develop on the company's sales in comparison with the business figures for the branch.
