Modeling and fuzzy-neural network control of electric power steering system

摘要
Electric Power Steering (EPS) system has been studied to replace. traditional hydraulic power steering system in vehicles. In this research, the mechanism and dynamic characteristic was analysed and the model was developed aimed at the nonlinear MIMO system of electric power steering system. Then the fuzzy- neural network controller was designed and the corresponding simulation was performed. The results show that the proposed EPS control strategy can provide good performance of stability and controllability and can increase the anti-jamming capability of vehicle. It has practical significance to the overall design of EPS system, the improvement and optimization of EPS function and the steering manipulation safety.
