摘要
This paper presents the theoretical underpinnings and outcomes of the "Digital Design Incubator" a real and virtual space for young people to collaborate. The Incubator is a space where young people express their creativity, explore new ways of thinking and find new ideas through the 'collision of the unfamiliar'. The Incubator provides a unique place where new ideas about knowledge creation emerge and new approaches to teaching and learning are being shared. The Incubator has developed a series of programs that focus on creativity, innovation and design as the foundation stones of our knowledge based economy. Young people when they graduate receive a recognised and valued high school completion certificate and technical and further education certificate.
