Graduates' and employers' perspectives of engineering management education programmes

摘要
The scope of the present research involves several factors, such as education programme in engineering management, the suitability of the programme, difficulty of graduates gaining employment, the demand for such graduates by companies or organisations, job suitability, plus the potential of graduates in developing a company. This research was carried out using qualitative methods. The qualitative method was carried out through informal interview sessions with respondents. All respondents were required to answer several questions that related to the survey. A total of 44 respondents were involved in this study, with 22 of them being graduates and the remaining 22 being employers. The results from this research were obtained utilising informal interviews with respondents. On the whole, the results of this research shows that graduates of engineering management programmes are needed in the tabour market. In conclusion, graduates in engineering management have good prospects in the tabour market from the perspective of both the graduates and the employers.
