Every linear code over GF(4) with odd minimum distance d is extendable if A(i) = 0 for all i equivalent to 2 (mod 4) or if A(i) = 0 for all i equivalent to -d (mod 4). (c) 2005 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
