摘要
The present work examines the feasibility of using Single Walled Carbon Nanotubes (SWNTs) for the improvement of the interface impedance of platinum multielectrode arrays. A suspension of SWNTs produced by are discharged and purified is directly deposited onto the platinum electrode surface. In particular, we make a thorough comparison of black platinum and SWNTs as interface material. The results show that carbon nanotubes electrodes decrease the impedance module. The common and well-known electrode platinization with black platinum method to decrease the Impedance of the microelectrodes, has also been tested. These results and the practicability of the method suggest that SWNTs can be used successfully reducing impedance values instead of electromodified electrodes.
