摘要
Construction of low-carbon city has become a new trend of urban sustainable development. It is known that some developed countries have achieved remarkable social and economic fruits, while for some developing countries; they are still facing some problems. This paper focuses on the low-carbon cities of different countries, summing up the common features of the international practices and models The article analyzes the methodology of macroeconomic policy, technology innovation, citizens' participation, basing on the comparative analysis of the situations of low-carbon city construction at home and abroad. Finally, taking into account China's present conditions, this paper finds out some measures for developing low-carbon city in China: enhance citizens' consciousness on low-carbon, strengthen the government's guiding policy, innovate low-carbon technology, transform the pattern of economic development of the city and low-carbon city related mechanism. It is considerable that these measures can help people to better understand the sustainable development of the city.
