摘要
The paper makes an empirical research into income growth effect of citizenization of migrant workers by means of Propensity Score Matching based on Chinese Household Income Project Survey (CHIPS) published by China Institute for Income Distribution. Findings show that citizenization has a significant positive effect on promotion of income growth for migrant workers to an extent that citizenized migrant workers enjoy an average monthly income about 11% higher than that of their counterparts. The research believes that as citizenization can significantly increase the income level of migrant workers and encourage more surplus rural labors force to engage in nonagricultural production in cities, it is therefore required to enhance effective guidance for citizenization of migrant workers, so as to push hard on healthy and fast development of urbanization in our country.
