摘要
In order to reduce the costs of repairing failure manufacturing equipment, an internet-based remote fault diagnosis system was referred in the paper, The entire system consisted of manufacturing equipment information service system, remote diagnosis center and remote-experts. OPC technology was adopted to collect fault data on field, and the WebService technology was used to transfer the fault data to the diagnosis center. When manufacturing equipment was failure, field operators used manufacturing equipment information service system to invoke the fault diagnosis web service which provided by remote diagnosis center, the web service transmitted information of failure equipment to diagnosis center, in the diagnosis center expert system was applied to analyze these information and displayed them in diagnosis webpage, the remote-experts browsed this webpage and diagnosed the equipment. After the cause of the failure was found, the system generated a maintenance direction, which helped field operator to fix the machinery. Compared with traditional remote diagnosis system that often required the support of enterprise internal information system, the new system was more practical for its lower resource requirement of the manufacturing enterprise.
