Road surface characteristics on experimental road section with crumb rubber additive and connection with road traffic noise

摘要：
The article presents the results of measurements of road surface properties on an experimental road section at Mala Ida village, Kosice region, Slovakia. Visual inspection was performed to detect the presence of potholes and cracks, the roughness of the road surface was measured too, and in the next step the road pavement was checked visually and from the friction coefficient point of view. The friction coefficient was calculated from the roughness value.
