摘要
The concentrations of As, Mo and W in surface and 2-90 degreesC groundwaters in tholeiitic flood basalt sequence in N-Iceland lie in the ranges of <0.03-10, <0.01-118 and 0.005-11 ppb, respectively. The concentrations are higher in groundwaters than in surface waters and in the former group of waters they increase with increasing temperature and residence time. From their relationship with B, it is concluded that As, Mo and W act as incompatible, their aqueous concentrations being determined by the extent the water has dissolved the primary basalt minerals.
