Macroeconomics is a basic course in economics and management and it is receiving more and more attention in ordinary colleges and universities. However, owing to the limitation of teaching resources and enrollment, there are some problems in teaching macroeconomics. Through teaching practice, the author believes that the teacher should explain the decision-making steps in detail, use the latest real cases and encourage the students to conduct preliminary study, which can cultivate the interest of students in learning macroeconomics and help students master the economic analysis method. All of these can improve the teaching effects further.
