Evolution of Recrystallization Texture in Cold Rolled Low-Carbon Steel Sheets Based on CSP Technology

摘要
The study presents the evolution of recrystallization texture in cold rolling and batch annealing processes for low carbon deep-drawing steels produced by Compact Strip Production (CSP), a process for the production of hot rolled strips from a continuously cast slab using direct charging. Macro-texture measured by XRD shows that gamma-fiber increases remarkably at the beginning of recrystallization, but stagnates in the later stage of grain growth. In order to explain the mechanism of formation of recrystallization texture, nucleation and growth of recrystallized grains were characterized by electron backscatter diffraction (EBSD). Subgrains which are most likely to become recrystallization nuclei were selected based on the lower internal average misorientation and higher grain boundaries from the deformed matrices, and they have a preferred orientation near gamma-fiber especially the {111}< 112 >. In addition, the growth of new {111} grains is inhibited in the grain coarsening stage, which corresponds to the change of the texture. Formation of recrystallization texture is considered as the comprehensive effects of the preferred orientation distribution and various growth rates of the recrystallized grains.
