摘要
Following the use of the James Webb Space Telescope (JWST), there will be a need for space telescopes or interferometers of increasing size and, later, of increasing aperture. Looking ahead to the known problems of the next decade allows a modest extrapolation from JWST to address the currently interesting science. Increasing telescope sizes will also allow exploration with higher angular resolution. Eventually, the telescope/interferometer sizes will be so large that they must be constructed in space.
